A former Winter Olympian who was born in Thunder Bay is now listed on the FBI’s top ten most wanted.

Ryan James Wedding appears on the list for his involvement in a Mexican drug cartel.

The group is said to have moved large quantities of methamphetamine and cocaine from Central and South America to the U.S. and Canada.

Wedding was among 10 Canadians indicted on charges last fall after a shipment was intercepted by authorities.

Wedding, who competed in snowboarding in the 2002 Olympics for Canada, was cited as the group’s leader.

The FBI also alleges he orchestrated several murders.

A reward of up to $10 million is being offered for information that leads to his arrest.

The FBI believes he may be hiding out in Mexico.
