An emu named Fluff is still on the run after escaping from its owner’s property on Beech Hill Road near Liverpool.
The large flightless bird has been spotted multiple times along Highway 103, particularly near Exit 21.
The owner, who confirmed the emu’s disappearance, says Fluff likely made his way to the highway through nearby wooded trails.
Fluff is not domesticated and is unlikely to respond if called.
Anyone who spots Fluff is advised not to approach but to report sightings to the owner at (902) 683-2314.
