Five people are dead and one man is in critical condition after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 101.
RCMP say it was just after 11 p.m., Saturday, between and Falmouth when two vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes.
Four people were pronounced dead the scene.
A 43-year-old man and 45-year-old woman, both from Falmouth, in one vehicle, as well as a 45-year old woman from Oxford and 58-year-old man from Nappan, in the other vehicle.
A 50-year-old man from Oxford was taken to hospital but was later pronounced dead.
A 29-year-old man from British Columbia was taken to hospital by LifeFlight and remains in critical condition.
The eastbound lanes of the highway were closed for several hours.
RCMP ask for any witnesses who have not spoken to police or have dashcam footage of the collision to come forward.
