N.S. family doctor waitlist drops by nearly 1,600 in July
A small drop in the amount of people needing a family doctor.
Nova Scotia Health says nearly 1,600 more people were attached to a provider in the month of July.
As of August 1, 87,879 were on the Need a Family Practice registery.
That’s about 8.3 percent of our population.
The next registry update will be in early September.
