Bridgewater’s annual pavement renewal program gets underway today, with work beginning on several streets across town.
On Monday, crews are scheduled to start by planing off old pavement on King Street, between Brown Drive and 1095 King, along with York Street between Victoria Road and Empire Street, and High Street from 163 High to Anne Street.
The Town says motorists should expect delays in these areas and are asked to proceed slowly over rises and dips where pavement has been removed.
Additional streets included in this year’s program are Elizabeth Avenue (Christie Street to 39 Elizabeth), Sunset Drive (Pinecrest to 31 Sunset), Dublin Avenue (Regent to DesBrisay), Miller Drive (Pinehurst to 64 Miller), and South Street, where pavement renewal is tied to watermain repair work.
