RCMP are investigating after someone took an ATM from a South Shore business.
Police responded to a report that a blue SUV backed up to a store on Highway 329 in Hubbards at about 5 a.m. Wednesday.
There was significant damage to the building and a person removed the bank machine from the lobby.
Surveillance video shows a tall, slender man wearing a trench coat, a balaclava, and gloves, as well as the newer model Nissan Rogue SUV that he drove.
So far, investigators have recovered parts of the ATM on the roadside but are still seeking the public’s help.
Anyone who may have information about the theft is asked to contact Lunenburg District RCMP at 902-275-3583. This includes anyone with dashcam footage or surveillance video of the area around the time of the theft and witnesses who have not yet spoken with police.
