The recent Canada Post strike has disrupted mail service across the country, including in Bridgewater.
As a result, water bills issued at the end of September by the Public Service Commission of Bridgewater will not be mailed to residential or commercial customers this quarter.
Despite the delay in delivery, water bills are still due and must be paid by Friday, October 31, 2025.
To avoid interest charges, customers are encouraged to access their account balances and make payments using one of several available options.
You can sign up for a Town of Bridgewater e-billing account by visiting www.bridgewater.ca/ebilling or by calling 902-543-4651 for assistance.
Bills can also be picked up in person at Town Hall, located at 60 Pleasant Street, where payments can be made directly.
Alternatively, customers may retrieve their bill from Town Hall and pay through their bank or online banking.
You can also call Town Hall to inquire about your balance and arrange payment through your preferred method.
For full details on payment options, visit www.bridgewater.ca/payments.
