RCMP are looking for more information on a vehicle involved in the horrific collision that left five people dead, and one critically injured on Highway 101.
Police say they believe a Honda Civic was travelling in the wrong direction in the eastbound lanes when it collided with a Nissan Sentra.
It was just after 11 p.m. Saturday, about 1.5 km from Exit 7 in Falmouth.
Earlier that evening, around 7:20 p.m., RCMP had responded to a possible impaired driver involving the same Civic, last seen at a restaurant on Hwy 1 near the 11600 block in Grand Pre.
However, police were not able to find the vehicle.
Investigators are now asking for help to find out where the blue 2014 Honda Civic with license plate HLF590 was before 7:20 p.m.
Four people were pronounced dead at the scene.
This includes the driver and passenger of the Honda Civic, a 43-year-old man and 45-year-old woman, both from Falmouth, as well as the driver and passenger of the Nissan Sentra, a 45-year-old woman from Oxford and 58-year-old man from Nappan.
A 50-year-old man from Oxford was taken to hospital but was later pronounced dead.
A 29-year-old man from British Columbia was taken to hospital by LifeFlight and remains in critical condition.
Anyone with information about this incident or dashcam footage of the area prior to the collision is asked to call West Hants District RCMP at 902-798-2207.
